St. Patrick's Day is normally a quite day around our house, but not this year. I decided to throw Colton a fun party in school today.
We woke up this morning and noticed that the leprechauns visited our house last night. They left footprints everywhere and messed up our house. We followed the footprints and noticed that they left Colton a pot full of treasures. (Idea from Oopsey Daisy found in her G is for Green packet.)
Colton was excited to eat a bowl full of Lucky Charms that he got from the leprechauns.
After getting ready we went on a hunt for shamrocks. (You can find a template for shamrocks in G is for Green packet from Oopsey Daisy.) I knew Colton would love this activity since he enjoyed our Triangle Scavenger Hunt. After finding all of the shamrocks Colton sorted them by colors.
Colton had fun doing the Rainbow art project from Little Learners Lounge.
To end our party Colton and I read "Five Wee Leprechauns" that is also found in the G is for Green packet from Oopsey Daisy. As you can tell I used her packet for most of my ideas.

St. Patrick's Day
There is green everywhere so that must mean one thing, St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner. Here are some fun actives to do with your little one.
I absolutely love this cute Handprint Leprechauns from Meet The Dubiens. This craft is definitely on my list for next week's celebration.
Shamrock Jell-o Jigglers
Another great idea from Meet The Dubiens.
Pot of Gold
Can this craft from Serving Pink Lemonade be any cuter?
Good Luck Bear
Good Luck Bear by: Greg Foley is good book to go along with all of fun crafts. At the blog Helping Little Hands you will also find a four leave clover template that might come in handy.
The picture isn't the best picture to show it off, but I think this craft from Little Learners Lounge would make a fun craft for toddlers like Colton.
AND...
If this is enough Allison from Oopsey Daisy put together a entire packet just for St. Patrick's Day. You can download it for personal use. You can go to her website and download it for free.
